| This page is designed to assist in replacing the RCA type cartridges shown in figure1 below with the FC Cartridges. However it may also be useful when replacing with other cartridges.
Step 3. Cut a piece of flat aluminum or Step 4. Mount aluminum to tone arm with screws from step2.
Step 6. Epoxy new cartridge on plate made in step 3. Use 5 minute epoxy. Step 7. Attach wires from tone arm to pins 3 and 4. Step 8. Replace tone arm back onto unit and adjust the aluminum plate as necessary for proper alignment of new cartridge. Also check height and set down adjustments. When adjusted properly the player should be able to play a minimum of 8 stacked records with no problems at all, and the needle should set down in the lead in grove of the record every time.
